From downtown New York City, wedding of Kim and Mark at the Ritz. It’s the end of the Manhattan island, Battery park, where you can see Statute of Liberty form a window. The light in the hotel rooms is just absolutely perfect. Those shots of Kim getting her hair done are just stunning.
The reception was so elegant, very New York, as was their choreographed first dance (Kim is a dancer). I like how we got them dancing in front of the Freedom tower and then blend the shot later to the first dance. It worked out perfectly.

Disclaimer: all the shots form inside the Trinity church are not our footage. We weren’t allowed inside.

Venue: Ritz Carlton
Photo: Sten Hartman (cool to work with)
Band: Around Town Entertainment (awesome)

A barn wedding from Gilbertsville farmhouse in upstate NY. A place where you are one with the nature. The hills, forest, and animals. So fitting for Roseanne and Cody. We were little bummed out it rain almost the entire time. At one point it cleared, so we grabbed some shots with Roseanne and Cody outside. Turned out really cool as we got a little sun for few minutes and these clouds of steam coming out of the forest. But my favorite was Roseanne getting ready with those pink hair in a pink room with sisters in pink clothes. Just divine.

Every time we watch this wedding video, we fall more in love with it. Amazing work!ReplyCancel

Lauren is very detail oriented, and she packed the entire day with so many details. For example, when she was getting ready, she had a lace from grandma’s dress incorporated into her robe, collection of old stamps, a saying her grandma had used to tell her written on a ribbon in the bouquet, wedding dresses of her mom and grandma displayed at the reception, old plates from family collection, painting of Eiola by grandma that was also made into invitation cards, or 3 rings (mom, sister and Lauren) made of a grandma’s jewels. As you can see Grandma was a big part of their wedding, and she definitely was there in spirit with them.
But not only Lauren is sentimental, Nick also surprised us all with the present he made for Lauren. It was a hand made box, with small personal gifts and 10 “why do I love you” cards, that made everyone cry. I loved when they asked the longest married couple, at the anniversary dance, what advice you’d give to the newlyweds. And the husband said: “I wouldn’t, they got it”. And I agree, they got it.

Khrystyna and Steven had a wedding at the St. Clements Castle. Khrystyna is originally form Ukraine and most of the family and friends couldn’t attend the wedding. So they had some family members Skyping the entire wedding for her mom, dad and siblings. I got few shot of them in the video too.
I love the garden at St. Clements. So many different spots to take great pictures. We also waited until the last possible minute of the sunset, to get those golden hour shots as you see in the video. The window to do this was so small. About 5 minutes and it was gone. We worked with our good friend John from Prestige Barkley Photography. Love that guy. Check out his website

This time we went to Boston. A beautiful Chinese/Vietnamese wedding at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden ‘THBC’. But before the garden we had these traditional Chinese and Vietnamese customs: groom games in front of the bride house and of course the tea ceremonies. Jenny and Jimmy had the first look at the Old Stone Church in West Boylston. Jimmy got really emotional when he saw Jenny for the first time in a white dress, and we just love that. He was really so happy the entire day. Just watch what he does, when they are proclaimed husband and wife (hint: Tiger W.)
