I have started the season with a February wedding. It was at the Battery Gardens, the tip of Manhattan Island in Battery Park, right in front Lady Liberty. Fantastic location, with amazing views with plenty of photo opportunities.
Julia was getting ready in the Wagner hotel (formally the Ritz). Again the spectacular views. Plus the famous NYC light, coming though the windows. You don’t get this anywhere else. Must be the tall building reflecting light and creating unique shadows.
We were lucky it was as perfect day for February as you can hope for, 40 and sunny. We went to the Wall street, got very cool subway shots and I love the silhouette images with the Statue.
