Autumn Elegance: Sandy & Jonathan in Westchester, NY

Sandy and Jonathan’s spectacular Italian and Portuguese Westchester wedding was an absolute fairytale from start to finish. Framed by gorgeous weather and the warmth of deep family traditions, their special day was a beautiful testament to romance, heritage, and pure joy. As a premier NY wedding videographer, our team at Fairytale Studio was incredibly honored to document every spontaneous laugh, heartfelt tear, and meaningful milestone for this gorgeous, natural couple. To be completely honest, this has easily become one of my most favorite weddings ever.

The morning hours began with a sense of quiet anticipation in the preparation spaces, where we captured truly magical footage of Sandy getting ready. The room’s architecture provided the ultimate canvas, allowing our cinematic lenses to creatively shape the contrast between light and shadows using the window frames and soft window shades. Seeing Sandy step into her breathtaking, sparkling Calla Blanche dress under that curated light was a visual masterpiece that set a sophisticated, editorial tone for the entire film.

Following their beautiful ceremony, we headed up to the estate’s second floor for an intimate portrait session. The room was flooded with an incredible golden hour glow as the sunset sun came pouring directly into the space, perfectly complementing the grand chandelier overhead. We took full advantage of the estate’s architecture, moving out onto the elegant balcony to capture panoramic views of the property before heading downstairs to the reception.

The ballroom itself was transformed into a glowing paradise. The beautiful table settings were illuminated by an abundance of warm candles, adding a deeply romantic and magical ambiance to the space. The room was filled with pure emotion during the speeches, especially a deeply moving toast from the father of the bride that still gets me a little every single time I hear it, even after watching this film at least 30 times in the editing suite. Backed by the high-energy curation of Generation Events and stunning floral designs by Forever in Bloom, the dance floor stayed absolutely packed all night alongside photographer Tony Spinelli. The night reached its perfect crescendo with a spectacular sparkler exit, letting the newlyweds depart under a canopy of bright sparks.
