A Texan marrying a New England girl. Sounds like a movie, and surely this could have been one. I know Stephanie’s whole family so well. I did a video for her brother and did her cousin’s wedding about 7 years ago. Marc is a helicopter pilot policeman (how often you get to say that?) and a real gentleman. As Steph’s dad put it, she “married a good ol’ boy”

The location was Saltwater Farm Vineyard, Stonington CT. We really love this place. We did another wedding here, a month prior.

Roseanne & Cody

A barn wedding from Gilbertsville farmhouse in upstate NY. A place where you are one with the nature. The hills, forest, and animals. So fitting for Roseanne and Cody. We were little bummed out it rain almost the entire time. At one point it cleared, so we grabbed some shots with Roseanne and Cody outside. Turned out really cool as we got a little sun for few minutes and these clouds of steam coming out of the forest. But my favorite was Roseanne getting ready with those pink hair in a pink room with sisters in pink clothes. Just divine.

Lori & Evan

One of our favorite wedding spots – Gilbertsville Farmhouse, upstate NY. It’s so serene up there. Just one with nature (and goats). Lori and Evan were such fun, they were being goofy all day. Laughing the entire time, especially Lori. Lori is also a comedian, as were many of the guests. And I mean not just wise guys, but actual real comedians. There were also many actors, people from showbiz, and singers. I really wanted to capture the fun this wedding had been, and I think it is reflected in the video.

Amber & Dan

This was a treat for us, a Kiwi/Italian wedding. Dan is a New Zealander, a.k.a. Kiwi. So half of the people at the wedding had an amazing accent. Although, towards the end of the night, I had hard time understanding some of them. Dan was nice to “translate” it for me.
Amber and Dan picked The Barns at Wesleyan for their wedding, one of our favorites. And if you read our post regularly, you know we are dealing with a string of unfortunate weather. And yes the string continued on this one as well. It’s a really bizarre year. The ceremony had to happen indoor. We had to forgo the beautiful colors outside, as you can see from some other shots. However, the ceremony was still beautiful with all the hanging light bulbs. Really warm and rustic.
Their First Dance was choreographed to a song we have used in a previous wedding (Tyler Williams – All my days). They decided to make it their wedding song, after watching our video. What an honor to have my work influence my couples. Obviously we used it in the video as well and it fits perfectly. If you watch carefully, Dan and Amber are lip syncing the song at one point in the video. And talking about lip syncing, they did every N’sync, Backstreet Boys and Brittany Spears’ song later that night. Even got the exact moves to Bye Bye Bye. Was so much fun.

Amanda and Chris

A wedding from Maine and from New Hampshire. We are very diverse this year.
The day started in scenic Portsmouth NH, where Amanda and Chris were getting ready. We also went to the harbor where we took few shots on the pier. Absolutely love the colors that turned out in these images. The blue of the sky is mesmerizing. The ceremony and reception was in South Berwick ME. This part of America is so peaceful and people are so nice. We have never gotten such nice treatment at a wedding venue. All the staff was so polite and friendly. I wish every place we work at was like this, The Red Barn at Outlook Farm

We do love country weddings, so we obviously love this one. Lord Thompson Manor is an absolute perfect spot. Just look at the set up they did for us outside, under the tree; chandeliers, bunch of knick-knacks and a decorated bicycle, a photography paradise. The sermon was equally fantastic. The minister was so personal and genuine. Really everything from getting ready to dancing at the reception was just perfect.

Editorial wedding shoot we shoot in early May at North Salem, NY. Although we could have done without the rain, the overcast created a very nice light to shoot in.
